I am Rena Aliston, an American Indian (Saponi) and German author of six poetry books, most recently Woven Tales: Selected Poems and Shadows and Mirrors: A Dark Poetry Collection. My latest book, The Devil’s Grave: A Collection of Short Crime & Horror Stories, was released April 19, 2024.
A native of Pennsylvania, I currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky where I’m the owner of Wayuka (American Indian and German Designs).
I’m in the process of working on a crime/thriller series. My character-driven stories feature detectives who are morally ambiguous and as flawed as the criminals they seek to bring to justice.
