I haven’t been feeling well these past few days. Migraines have been body slamming me. My intention this month was to participate in NaNoWriMo, but I’ve only written one day so far. To keep myself busy, I decided to revamp the site.
The site finally has a banner. I wanted to keep the blue color scheme going. I originally had a banner when I first created the site, but removed it because I wasn’t happy with the way it turned out. I think this one looks better.
I’ve also added a “Members” section to the main menu for easier access to your account.

The main book pages have been changed. A menu has been added where you can select to view “All” the books, the “Works In Progress” or the “Back List”. Access to the content on the pages will depend on your membership tier. The book covers have also been enlarged.
Like before, each book takes you to the landing page, where you’ll find more information about the book. There have been changes made to the landing pages as well. I’ve created a “Table of Contents” section instead of using the white buttons and moved everything up with the rest of the information (instead of below the image and description).
Clicking on a poem/story/chapter will take you to the page where you can read the content (depending on your tier). Originally set up as a blog, I now have the content set up as pages. Before this change, the previous/next buttons would take you to the next blog post. Now these buttons take you directly to the previous/next story in the book. The buttons are located below the story.
You can still leave comments on each story/poem/chapter you read. The comment form is below the previous/next navigation buttons. I’m still working on getting all the pages set up properly and hoping to get everything finished by the beginning of next week.

The last new update for the site is the membership levels page. Instead of the table layout I previously had, I decided to change it over to the same layout as the main page. The “Free” account name has been changed to “The Uncommitted” and I added information about what’s included with that tier. All of the other tiers have remained the same.
I’ll be working on more changes throughout the week and over the weekend. Any new major changes to the site will be posted in the blog.
